generally, i suggest two forms of birth control. my husband and i used the pill AND a condom until we got married. it’s very important to take the pill at the same exact time every day. i have an alarm that goes off so i can remember to take it.
umm… abstinence works real good too. just putting it out there.
edit- OH! you’ve had a kid? i would go for an IUD. it’s this little flexible plastic insert that the doc puts in you and can prevent pregnancy for up to five years or less. this would be a great option for you. way more reliable than the pill, since there are no doses to “miss”. if you aren’t at risk for an etopic pregnancy, i’d do that.
